Workshop Hosting Terms & Conditions
By submitting a Workshop Host Application with Craggy Pear Emporium, the facilitator (“the Facilitator”) agrees to the following terms and conditions.
1. Booking & Acceptance
1.1 Submission of a workshop application does not guarantee acceptance.
1.2 All workshops are curated to ensure alignment with the Craggy Pear Emporium brand, audience, and values.
1.3 Craggy Pear Emporium reserves the right to accept or decline applications at its discretion.
2. Booking Confirmation & Payment
2.1 A workshop booking is confirmed only once:
The workshop application has been approved
Workshop details, dates, duration, and hosting tier have been agreed
The required payment has been received
2.2 To secure a workshop booking, facilitators are required to pay:
A 50% non-refundable deposit upon invoice to confirm the booking
The remaining 50% balance no later than 4 weeks prior to the workshop date
2.3 For workshops scheduled within 4 weeks of confirmation, full payment is required upfront.
2.4 Workshop dates are not held until the required payment is received.
2.5 Failure to pay the balance by the due date may result in cancellation of the booking and applicable cancellation fees.
3. Workshop Hosting Tiers
3.1 Workshop pricing and inclusions are determined by the selected hosting tier (Tier 1, Tier 2, or Tier 3).
3.2 Inclusions and responsibilities vary by tier and are outlined on the Craggy Pear Emporium website or in a written agreement.
3.3 Promotion, admin, ticketing, and payment handling are included only where explicitly stated.
4. Facilitator Responsibilities
The Facilitator agrees to:
4.1 Deliver the workshop professionally, safely, and in accordance with the description approved by Craggy Pear Emporium.
4.2 Provide all materials, tools, and consumables required for participants unless otherwise agreed in writing.
4.3 Arrive with sufficient time for setup and leave the space clean and tidy after the workshop.
4.4 Comply with all reasonable venue rules, safety requirements, and instructions from Craggy Pear Emporium staff.
4.5 Ensure their workshop is suitable for the stated age group and skill level.
4.6 Hold appropriate experience, qualifications, or skills to deliver the workshop competently.
5. Health, Safety & Risk
5.1 The Facilitator is solely responsible for the safe delivery of their workshop activities.
5.2 The Facilitator must identify and manage any risks associated with their workshop, including the use of tools, materials, equipment, or other activities.
5.3 The Facilitator must ensure participants are given appropriate safety instructions where required.
5.4 The Facilitator acknowledges that food is not permitted to be provided as part of any workshop.
5.5 Craggy Pear Emporium accepts no responsibility for injuries or incidents arising from workshop activities conducted by the Facilitator.
6. Insurance & Liability
6.1 The Facilitator is responsible for holding appropriate public liability insurance where required.
6.2 Proof of insurance may be requested prior to confirmation of the workshop.
6.3 The Facilitator agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Craggy Pear Emporium, its owners, staff, and contractors from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from the workshop, except where caused by proven negligence of Craggy Pear Emporium.
7. Marketing & Promotion
7.1 Marketing support is provided only as outlined in the selected hosting tier.
7.2 Craggy Pear Emporium makes no guarantee regarding ticket sales or attendance numbers.
7.3 The Facilitator grants permission for Craggy Pear Emporium to use workshop details, images, and supplied content for workshop-related promotional purposes, where applicable.
8. Ticketing, Payments & Refunds
8.1 Responsibilities for ticketing, payments, and customer communication depend on the selected hosting tier.
8.2 Where Craggy Pear Emporium manages bookings (Tier 3), standard participant refund and cancellation policies apply and will be communicated to participants.
8.3 Craggy Pear Emporium is not responsible for lost income due to low ticket sales, participant cancellations, or external factors beyond its control.
9. Cancellations & Changes
9.1 If the Facilitator needs to cancel or reschedule a workshop, they must notify Craggy Pear Emporium as soon as possible.
9.2 Facilitator-initiated cancellations are subject to the Craggy Pear Emporium Workshop Cancellation Policy, which outlines applicable fees based on notice provided and costs incurred.

9.3 Cancellation fees may be offset against any deposit already paid.
9.4 Craggy Pear Emporium reserves the right to cancel or reschedule workshops due to unforeseen circumstances, safety concerns, or insufficient bookings.
10. Use of Space & Conduct
10.1 The workshop space must be used respectfully and for the agreed purpose only.
10.2 Damage to the space, furniture, or equipment caused by the Facilitator or participants may be charged to the Facilitator.
10.3 Craggy Pear Emporium reserves the right to end a workshop if behaviour is unsafe, inappropriate, or breaches these Terms & Conditions.
11. Intellectual Property
11.1 All workshop content remains the intellectual property of the Facilitator.
11.2 Craggy Pear Emporium does not claim ownership of workshop methods, materials, or teaching content.
12. Privacy & Data
12.1 Facilitators must handle participant information responsibly and in accordance with applicable privacy laws.
12.2 Where Craggy Pear Emporium manages bookings, participant data will be handled in line with its Privacy Policy.
13. Agreement & Acknowledgement
13.1 By submitting an application or confirming a booking, the Facilitator confirms they have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions and the Workshop Cancellation Policy.
13.2 These Terms & Conditions may be updated from time to time. The most current version will apply to all new workshop bookings.
