Join us for this special beginner-friendly spinning workshop designed to introduce you to the timeless craft of hand spinning. Whether you're curious about where your yarn comes from or dreaming of spinning your own skeins for knitting or crochet, this hands-on experience is the perfect place to begin.
Over the course of four interactive sessions, you’ll learn the fundamentals of spinning, from wheel maintenance and carding to drafting and spinning your own yarn. With four classes spaced out over eight weeks, you'll have time to absorb the skills, practice at home, and build confidence between sessions.
By the end of the course, you’ll be well on your way to spinning beautiful, unique yarns – and you may just find a new lifelong passion!

Wear comfortable clothes that you don’t mind getting messy. We do provide aprons.

We aim to be inclusive. Our workshop space is accessible with flat entry and accessible restroom facilities. Let us know in advance if you have specific needs.

Cancellations with more than 7 days’ notice are eligible for a full refund or credit. Cancellations within 7 days are non-refundable but may be transferred to another person.
Workshop Terms & Conditions
By registering for or attending any art or craft workshop provided by Craggy Pear, you agree to the following terms:

All workshop bookings must be paid in full at the time of registration to secure your place. Spaces are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Craggy Pear reserves the right to refuse entry if payment has not been received in advance.

If you cancel your workshop booking:
More than 7 days before the scheduled workshop: You may request a full refund or credit.
Less than 7 days before the workshop: No refund will be provided unless we are able to fill your spot.
No-shows without notice: No refund or credit will be issued.
If Craggy Pear cancels a workshop for any reason (including but not limited to low enrolments or instructor unavailability), you will be offered a full refund, rescheduling option, or store credit.
Refunds for workshops are issued using the same payment method and are at the discretion of Craggy Pear, in line with applicable consumer protection laws.

Unless otherwise specified, workshops are open to participants aged 18 years and over. Workshops intended for children or minors will be clearly marked and may require adult supervision.
