  • Saltwash Texture Application – Incorporate Saltwash to create a rustic, weathered, coastal texture.

  • Coloured Wax & Finishing Techniques – Experiment with dark, white, and coloured waxes to highlight texture, protect your finish, and add patina.

With plenty of guidance, encouragement and time to practice between sessions, you'll build confidence at your own pace while sharing the experience with a lovely group of fellow makers.

What to Bring

Please bring your own spinning wheel. A limited number of loan wheels are available, so if you need one, simply let us know when booking.

***Important***
To help you get the most from the workshop, please make sure your spinning wheel is in good working order before the first session. If you're not sure, pop it into the Emporium at least a week beforehand and we'll happily give it a quick check. That way, when the workshop begins, we can focus on learning the joy of spinning together rather than spending valuable class time on wheel adjustments.
